Greetings in Christ's love! We're here to share some simple and easy-to-follow tips to help you guide your preschooler in their spiritual and emotional growth.
One easy routine we recommend is a daily 'Feelings Check-In'. It's a time for your child to talk about their day and their feelings. This helps them understand their emotions better, and it also helps you connect with them.
Here's how to do it:
Every day, ask your child to talk about one thing that made them happy. This helps them focus on the good things in their life.
Then ask them to share something that made them sad. This gives them a chance to talk about things that might be bothering them.
Finally, ask them what they're looking forward to. This helps them stay hopeful and excited about the future.
You can also include a prayer time in this routine. Your child can thank God for the good things, ask for help with the hard things, and express their hopes for the future.
Remember, this isn't about fixing their feelings. It's about understanding their feelings and teaching them to share their feelings with God and with you.
We hope this tip is helpful! Stay tuned for more easy and useful tips in our next newsletter!
